The first Nexus Physics Societies' Conference will take place on Friday 30 November 07 with representatives from across the UK and Ireland expected to attend. The conference, which will take place at The Department of Physics, Queen Mary's University of London (QMUL), will also incorporate the Nexus Annual General Meeting (AGM), wherein the new Nexus committee representatives for 2007/08 will be elected. The conference is free to attend. We are extremely grateful to QMUL Department of Physics for putting the venue at the disposal of Nexus and for providing general support for the event.

The conference event will include the societies' exhibition, wherein attending societies will have the opportunity to display the fruits of their success in the past. Societies can exhibit a range of material (e.g. posters, photos, newsletters, branded clothing, etc.) to celebrate their achievements and inspire their colleagues. Nexus will also provide support for those societies printing and producing material for their exhibit (contact us using the e-mail address below). Lunch is also included in the conference programme.
The Nexus Physics Societies' Conference is the first event of its kind and we are keen to make it an annual part of our support for physics societies. For that, we need the help of physics societies throughout the UK and Ireland by attending the conference and assisting us in refining the conference programme. Help us to create something new for physics societies through Nexus.
