Surprise yourself, inspire someone else

The IOP recognises the benefits of mentoring and would like to share them with you. So, the Professional Development and Careers team are offering you the chance to attend a mentoring workshop and to get involved.

Programme covers:

• welcome and introductions
• what is mentoring?
• learning styles: an introduction
• mentoring styles
• mentoring skills
• mentoring relationship
• the benefits of mentoring and much more

We require a minimum of 6 people to run a workshop, so if you and your colleagues are interested let us know and we will arrange this at a time that is suitable for all. Workshops will be held in the evening from 6.30pm -8.30pm. Please note that this workshop is specifically about mentoring, in all contexts- it does not cover the requirements or processes for Chartered status.  If you are interested in mentoring to support your own or someone else's Chartered application we still recommend you attend the workshop, but contact us separately for more information about the processes, competencies and requirements.
